How I Built a Team of Editors and VFX Artists for My Course

When I launched my first online course, I was working alone—writing scripts, editing videos, fixing audio, everything. But I soon realized I couldn’t maintain quality by myself. That’s when I started building a team using the same tools the pros use: DaVinci. After all, Professionals in Hollywood use the same DaVinci Resolve tools, and I wanted my course to feel just as polished.

The first person I brought on was a Colorist, and it changed everything. He introduced me to advanced Color Correction techniques that made my lessons vibrant and cinematic. Students noticed the improvement immediately. The next was an editor, who implemented a new workflow using Workflow Plugins that kept us organized and productive.

We then brought on an Audio Processing expert to clean up all of our voiceovers. What a difference. Suddenly, every module felt like a podcast recorded in a professional studio. Thanks to GPU and CPU Acceleration, we now render 4K videos without delay, and the time saved has allowed us to double our course output.

Finally, our VFX artists added animations and effects that help explain complex topics visually. With Flexible Editing, they can revise and update content in minutes. What started as a solo project turned into a production house for online education—all made possible by DaVinci and a team that shares the same cinematic mindset.
